I didn't know there was a toast at the end... I jumped the gun. LOL

I'm Connie's grandson Brody.There are a few things I can think of that really define who she was.The first is all times she came and rescued me from breaking my finger or getting sick at school to spraining my ankle during a soccer practice.Both my Mom, Peggy, and Dad, Jim, work full time so they couldn't always pick me up but she was always ready to come and would be there as soon as she could. She was an immenselyloving and caring Grandmother.The other memory was the look in her eyes when she gazed into the crater at Haleakalā in Maui.It was the realization of her dream to visit Hawaii and it brought her immense joy and peace.A moment that will forever remind me to remain positive, no matter what the world maythrow at us.
