At this time, we open the space for guests here today to share a memory. This can be a story or memory that makes you smile or is special to you.If we were all together today this would be like raising your hand and passing the microphone around the room. There are two ways to raise your hand. To use the Zoom feature, click on Reactions found at the bottom of your screen and the raise hand option will appear. Or, if your video is on, we invite you to do this the old fashioned way and wave your hand in the video. Our staff will call on you by name and ask you to unmute your microphone. You can also share here, in the chat. The chat will be shared with the family as a virtual guestbook.

Whenever I think of Kitty, I will visualize her caring smile. No matter how crazy our semesters would get, she was always a peaceful, positive energy. God bless her and her loved ones.

I was so lucky to share an office with Kitty. Whenever our office hours would overlap, we spent more time talking than working, but I was so glad to hear all about her family. She always wanted to talk about her daughters and how proud of you she was, or share a cool new video or news story she found for teaching. She was so kind and generous and accepting and I’m so grateful to get that time with her. She made me a better teacher and a better person.

I would run into Kitty on my way to work and she was heading to her office to get ready to teach. She always had a smile on her face and always took the time to ask me how i was doing and how my family was. I will miss seeing her and speaking her.

kitty and I worked together at the LRC and we were the only two who showed up while most people were still sleeping. Talking to Kitty was like taking morning meditation. As many have noted she truly was a calming presence, She indeed evinced the statement "If any one asked me why came to do, I came to live out loud. And the memory and gift I take from my friendship with Kitty. I live out loud! May her memory always be a blessing.

Kitty was such a wonderful soul. Her outlook on life was mesmerizing. I will miss our talks at the LRC, but I will always have our love for the acapella group Pentatonix and her willingness to bring me Porto's bakery potato balls. I miss her ❤
