At this time, we open the space for guests here today to share a memory. This can be a story or memory that makes you smile or is special to you.If we were all together today this would be like raising your hand and passing the microphone around the room. There are two ways to raise your hand. To use the Zoom feature, click on participants and the raise hand icon will appear on the bottom left of the participants panel. Or, if your video is on, we invite you to do this the old fashioned way and wave your hand in the video. Our staff will call on you by name and ask you to unmute your microphone. You can also share here, in the chat. The chat will be shared with the family as a virtual guestbook.
She was a wonderful friend from get go. We quickly connected and through her I received an extended family. Love to all of you and she will have her spirit around you all. You will never be alone.

Thank you all for sharing today and please continue to share your memories on the GatheringUs memorial for Margaret Jean Baker - located here: https://www.gatheringus.com/memorial/margaret-jean-baker/5945
I have such fond memories of her. I'll always be thankful to how welcome she always made me feel, even though I didn't get to come home often. She always treated me like it had been days, not years. Sending my love to all of you - Debbie Wilson (Artle)
It was a true pleasure getting to know Jack and Jean as my next door neighbors. Blessings to you, Jack and Tessa, and the entire family, as you continue to keep Jean alive in your hearts and through your lives. And Jean, I'll miss seeing you.
Jean was an adoring grandmother and a precious precious mom. I know how much she will be missed but we all know just where she is, celebrating with the angels and wrapped in the arms of Jesus. No more pain but joy. Blessings to each of you. Know that she is looking down and will ALWAYS be with you! Much love to the whole family. And thanks to Jean, I now love playing Mexican train :). XOXOXO
Hi. I feel very blessed to have met Tessa and quickly thereafter, Jean and Jack at a time in my life which was full of turmoil. Jean gave the most motherly hugs. Just pure love and compassion. I know that she is walking with Jesus and singing with angels. May God keep you all safe and may He comfort you through your loss. God bless
Over the last decade or so, on Thanksgiving, Tessa would open her home to the people who had no place to go or not traveling north. Jean and Jack would be for many of those gatherings. Jean had this way about her that she always made me (and others) feel at home, loved, and special. She was such a beautiful light.
Was just beautiful...Love you all, Candy

We love you Jack, Tessa, and Family. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers!!!!
Jean became “Mom” to me I think after the second time I met her. She was an amazing, unassuming woman who’s heart was full of love and giving. I am a better person for knowing her. Thank you Tessa for taking in yet another orphan. Bless you and Jack and the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
We are very happy to have had this opportunity to share. So many things to say but too hard to do. Love you Jack and Tessa. Call anytime or better yet come visit. XOXOXOX
A beautiful service for a beautiful lady! Deepest sympathies to all of the family.
