At this time, we open the space for guests here today to share a memory. This can be a story or memory that makes you smile or is special to you.If we were all together today this would be like raising your hand and passing the microphone around the room. So if you would like to publicaly share please raise your hand. There are two ways to raise your hand. First is to use the raise your hand feature in Zoom. To do this click on participants and then the raise hand icon is in the bottom left of the participants panel. Or, we invite you to can do this the old fashion way and wave your hand in the video, our staff will call on you by name and ask you to unmute your microphone. You can also share here, in the chat. The chat will be shared with the family as a virtual guestbook.

This is a very beautiful celebration of Sandy’s life. As one of her few high school classmates, I very much enjoyed the several West Coast mini-unions we had of Radnor High School class of 1956. She was a remarkable person and had all the qualities mentioned today – except I experienced only the positive ones.

I sure do miss my Aunt Sandy! I loved going to her house in Doylestown every Thanksgiving. She always welcomed us with open arms. She made the best turkey gravy. I enjoyed hanging out with Dwight, David, and Marsha. Ice skating on the pond was always a good time. When I talked to her I knew she listened with all ears and her whole heart. I loved talking with her. We kept in touch through email these past few years. I admire her in so many ways, tiny but mighty! She never missed my birthday, ever. I am grateful that she was a part of my life. I miss her!

The last time I visited with Sandy, I visited her in Portland and she walked my legs off - to the Rose Garden, The Japanese Garden, the museum.. She was endlessly energetic. And one of the strongest advocates for Planned Parenthood and women's rights I have ever known. She was smart, dedicated, and fierce... with a wicked sense of humor. I learned from her and I will miss knowing her presence is still here as long as we carry on ...

We know that Sandy would be an energetic volunteer for this election. Today when I had a volunteer task that I was hesitant about - making phone calls to encourage voting - I thought about how today was Sandy's memorial, and that thought inspired me and gave me energy. She stays with so many of us in memories through the years.

I so love Sandi’s commitment to her grandchildren. I remember her traveling to the west coast at least 5 times the first year of Dylan’s life. Dwight and Nancy have always included me in their family events and I am so grateful to have gotten to know Sandi at all these events. She would always check in to make share things were going well with me and I did know she was looking out for us. I certainly missed her at the cider pressing last week. It just wasn’t the same.
